ACTING FUNDAMENTALS
FOR THE BEGINNER, THE INTERMEDIATE, THE CURIOUS
4 Tuesdays: April 2nd - April 23rd, 7-10pm
Have a burning desire to act but don't know where to start?
Worked as an actor "here and there" but want to up your game?
Learn what the pros already know!
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
$180 per workshop.




SCENE STUDY
FIND YOURSELF IN THE SCRIPT!
4 Tuesdays: April 30th - May 21st, 7-10pm
"It's not the lines, it's the life." - Uta Hagen.
Saying the right lines are mandatory, but what's under them beyond the general idea
that meets the eye? Go deeper into the relationships and characters the writer
gives you to create unique, real moments that jump off the page
into reality for the audience, and YOU.
FUNDAMENTALS CLASS or ACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
$180 per workshop.
10% Discount if extending from Fundamentals workshop above.






ON-CAMERA AUDITIONING
DEMYSTIFY THE CASTING OFFICE and WIN THE ROOM!
4 Wednesdays: April 3rd - April 24th, 7-10pm
Auditioning requires a certain technique that goes beyond the acting in the scene.
Learn how to recognize the codes written into film and TV scripts, what really happens in the audition
room, and how you can feel like a colleague and not a nervous visitor!
FUNDAMENTALS CLASS or ACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
$180 per workshop.




ON-CAMERA ACTING and SET LIFE
LIVE TRUTHFULLY IN FRONT OF THE LENS and NAVIGATE THE BIZ!
4 Wednesdays: May 1st - May 22nd, 7-10pm
Camera scene work, film terms, continuity, marks, camera angles and more,
and how to use them all to your advantage! Also included: set life, the business of the biz, and a
2 MINUTE SHORT FILM SHOT AT THE END of the WORKSHOP for you to keep!
FUNDAMENTALS CLASS or ACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
$300 per workshop. Includes filmed and edited scene.
10% Discount if extending from On-Camera Auditioning workshop above.
1. ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE IN FULL BEFORE workshops begin.
Cancellation less than 2 days prior not refundable. A great deal of work goes
into prep for each student prior to class, including choosing specific scenes.
If you cancel with little warning there is not enough time for a new participant
to properly prep and take your place.

2. ATTENDANCE IN EACH WORKSHOP CLASS IS MANDATORY.
These are scaffolding classes, meaning each class is informed by the class
the week before. None of them is a drop-in class because technique is taught
in an evolving manner.
